	Cindy and Neal engaged.

Horizon is very excited to announce that Cindy Nixon, the director of the Kuyasa Learning Center in Kayamandi Township, South Africa, is married! Her husband is Neal de Beer, a native South African, whom she met when they were paired to work as ushers at the same door of their home church.
           
Cindy and Neal were friends for two years before they began dating. Cindy admits that it was she who insisted on not being involved in a relationship at the beginning. Then, after some serious thought and prayer, she decided being in a relationship with Neal really was the right thing. In fact, she felt it was what God wanted for her.
           
They became engaged exactly a year after they officially began dating. They both look forward to spending the rest of their lives helping and loving one another and others around them.

The big day was September 13th in Citrus Heights, California at the church in which Cindy grew up. We wish you the very best, Cindy and Neal!
