Graham started earlier than most.
Hi everyone, his first-birthday announcement began. Daddy, mommy, and me have been trying to decide what would be a fun gift for my birthday. It has to be great. After all, its my first! I already have all kinds of toys, clothes, blankets, and so on. Oh, and the best family.So, I was thinking that maybe you could honor me with a gift to another child.
The idea began while Grahams parents, Todd and Carrie, were preparing to celebrate their childs first birthday.
Carrie called the Horizon Office, to inquire about some gift-giving opportunities. Carrie and her husband felt that their sons first birthday was a way they could bless orphaned children in Africa. So invitations were sent out to family and friends.
In keeping with the theme of my party, I would like to donate animals to families in other countries who can use them for food.
The Mellohs chose three animals listed in Horizons 2008 Christmas Catalogchicks, rabbits, and goats.
They were astonished at the result. $335 was donated.
You may not have a lot of money to give this year. But you can still make a difference!
