The Kuyasa Kids Choir has arrived safely, but we are writing to ask for your prayers through April 18 as they sing and dance their way into the hearts of many in the Midwest. We ask you to pray for their health and safety and for hundreds of AIDS orphans to be sponsored as a result of this tour. Thank you for your partnership with us in this great kingdom endeavor.
Kuyasa Kids Return to the United States
Team of 20 Has Arrived
Horizon is pleased to announce the return to the United States of its acclaimed choir and dance team the Kuyasa Kids.
The sixth annual Kuyasa Kids Tour will take place in the States of Indiana and Ohio from March 26 to April 18, 2010.
The Kuyasa Kids are from Kayamandi Township, Western Cape Province, South Africa. Kayamandi was where Horizon launched its orphan sponsorship ministry in 2002.
MBongeni Mtshali was the originator of the Choir, and continues as its director. Newly married this year, MBongeni brings with him his assistants Sive Ngwexane and Nomandla Bongoza, plus seventeen kids.
The Choir is scheduled to sing in fifteen Hoosier and Buckeye congregations, plus a couple of Horizon regional events and Indianapolis businesses.
The Tour kicked off on Palm Sunday Weekend at Northview Christian Life Church in Carmel, Indiana and 114 children were sponsored.
