General Fund
Monies donated to this fund are used to help Horizon grow our capacity to effect change in Africa by expanding into new countries, hiring additional staff, and developing our infrastructure. This fund also keeps the doors open and the lights on in our American offices.

Children’s Reserve Fund
This fund exists to cover unexpected emergencies that can arise with our sponsored children.

Special Projects Fund
This fund covers current and upcoming Horizon community transformation projects.

Scholarship Fund
This fund provides post-secondary educational opportunities for our sponsored children who show the ability to go on to university level.

Microfinance Fund
Horizon is now providing startup loans and training to community members, enabling them to start and maintain sustainable businesses. The money stays in the community; after one loan is paid back it is made available as start-up capital for other businesses.
